Family fun

What a fun day we had! We played cards for hours, it was almost like being a kid again. It was neat teaching my husband some of our family traditions. It was great to see most of the family and have so much fun just laughing and playing. Everyone was truly happy to be there and had a blast. It was neat to see Piper playing so well with my younger cousins. We ate like pigs, of course! I always look forward to my grandma's rice pudding, it's my FAVORITE!! Xander was passed around like a hot potato, everyone wanted to hold him and get to know him.
The only sad part of the day was how poor my grandpa's health has gotten. He had several breathing treatments during the day. He pretty much was only awake to do those and to eat. I am happy that he did get a chance to at least meet Xander today. I only pray that when his time comes, he is secure in his final destination, and that he goes peacefully.
Tomorrow we will see many of the family again, since they are all coming to Fargo. Which should be fun!
