Fall 2010

Piper started 1st grade this fall, and is doing really well in school. We've had a pretty gorgeous fall so far, although now it is starting to get colder and we are expecting snow this week.

Summer 2010

This summer we took vacations to Itasca State Park in Minnesota in July. We had tons of fun, even when it rained! Xander thought camping was awesome, he was mesmerized by the fire, and LOVED the outdoors. Piper thought that being able to ride her own bike and keep up with us on the trails was pretty cool.
We also spent a whole week out at the lake. It was a gorgeous week (even tho it rained for 2 days), and was a very relaxing week.

Like Father Like Son

Since we were at my father-in-law's house this weekend, we decided to go through some old pictures. Here is one that I found that looks EXACTLY like Xander. Jeff is even making the exact same face that Xander makes. We found many more too, but this one bore the most striking resemblance!

Kindergarten Graduation

On May 27th, Piper graduated from kindergarten! They had a very cute program, which I will post as soon as I receive the video from her teacher (for some reason the sound didn't record on the video that I took). Here are some cute pictures from the ceremony.

Memorial Day Weekend 2010

Here are a few pictures from this weekend. We spend a couple of days/nights out at the lake, camping, swimming, boating, fishing, etc. The kids had a blast running around free like wild children!
