So, somebody in our building decided to leave the front door propped open on Sunday in the middle of a blizzard. As a result, our pipes and our neighbors pipes burst! Our pipes (luckily for us) sprayed water into the main hallway of the building instead of in our apartment. Our neighbors were not as lucky. Their bathroom, laundry room, and den have to be gutted and redone because of their water damage. So yesterday and today we have these massive, extremely annoyingly loud fans going to try to dry up the water mess. There are now signs posted by both outside doors of our apartment that the doors must be shut tight at all times or the pipes will burst! Here are some pictures of the hole in the wall where the pipes burst, the annoying fans, and the sign:

Yesterday the plows came by to clean off our road, but there were 2 cars in the middle of the road about 1/2 a block away from each other, so they weren't able to clear off our road until about 5 in the evening. We finally got my car out of the road, and nobody hit it (which I was a little worried about)!

Last night we put the car back in the garage, where we figured it would be safe and everything. The snow-removal guys were pushing snow around last night and decided that my garage didn't have enough snow in it, so they pushed the snow right into and thru the wall of my garage. The wall was moved a couple of feet away from it's original location, and was VERY close to my car! Needless to say, the managers of our building are getting pretty sick and tired of having us call!
This picture was taken from the inside of the garage looking at the inside wall, you can see Piper's sled hanging on the wall there. It was pretty crazy to open my garage and see that!It snowed a little bit this afternoon, which made the roads even more slippery. On our way to bring Piper to dance, some college girl rear-ended us! Praise God there was no damage to any of us or either of the cars. Still crazy tho!
